When you booked your appointment with Alchemy you were asked some screening information for safety. Please read through this and make sure you meet the safety requirements before you come for your appointment:
Are you sick or is anyone close to you sick?
Have you traveled in the last 2 weeks?
Have you been in contact with anyone diagnosed with Covid 19 in the past 2 weeks?
Based on what we know and don’t know about the Covid 19 virus, we ask that you reschedule your appointment with Alchemy if:
You are coughing
You have a fever
You are feeling ill
If you come in for your appointment with any of these symptoms, we will regretfully have to reschedule your appointment.
If you haven’t already, please up-date your contact and credit card information in our system by calling the salon.
We will be charging your services through your credit card on file whenever possible.
We will be updating you on important changes through text, email and also listing on our website.
When you are waiting for your appointment, either in your car or in our outside seating area, we will
be texting or calling you to let you know your stylist is ready.
There have been some changes to our pricing.
We have a planned price increase that went into effect on April 15th.
Some of the services will be affected. The desk and your stylist can help you with the cost changes to your particular service.
There will be a PPE (personal protective equipment) charge of 1.50, to cover our safety costs.
It’s Alchemy’s responsibility to make sure everyone feels safe while they’re here. These safety procedures Alchemy has in place to make sure you feel safe.
Alchemy will have a limited staff of stylists, apprentices and desk staff to maintain 6’ of separation and give our clients and staff a safe environment.
Clients will wait in their cars for a text or phone call letting them know their stylists is ready.
Alchemy will be seeing one client at a time with 15 minutes between each service to clean and prepare for our next client.
There will be no blow-dries and only shampoos for color services. All stylists will be shampooing their clients.
Each stylist will stay in one station all day. Assuring a clean and safe space for each client.
All unusable tools will be removed from the stations. Our stylists will be cleaning all tools in-between each client’s appointment.
All Alchemy staff will be wearing masks.
We have a plexiglass Shield at the front desk to keep safe distancing.
We have a inferred thermometer at the front desk to take each clients temperature.
We have masks available for purchase for all clients.
We have handless soap dispensers for the salon.
We will have signs throughout the salon to let clients know about all safety practices.
We will have cleaning supplies easily accessible throughout the salon.
These are the special care steps for your hair prior to your appointment:
Please make sure your hair is clean if you’re getting a haircut.
Please don’t put any products in your hair before your appointment. We will make sure to do that before you leave.
There will be no blow-dries with your services for safety reasons.
There will be shampoos only if you are receiving a color service.
These are the safety requirements that each client is responsible for before the arrive for their appointment:
Please wait in your car when you arrive at the salon. Give us a call to let us know you’re here and we
will text or call you when your stylist is available.
Please don't bring any guests with you.
Please wear a mask if you have one, if you don’t you can purchase one from us. They are 1.00.
Please only use the front door to enter and exit the salon.
Please bring your own drink in a closed container.
When you check in and out, please wash your hands in our bathroom facilities labeled “clients only".
When you check in please pause at the desk for your temperature to be taken.
